Strawberry-Banana Milkshake

Updated: Nov 30, 2021

Once again I am procrastinating effectively by whipping up some summery milkshakes to enjoy during study breaks. In the middle of the exam period, it is hard to find the time to treat yourself to some home-cooking, but there's always enough time for a tasty milkshake in between. Btw, you can also make this milkshake with other berries to substitute the strawberries, or make a pure banana milkshake - perhaps add a spoon of peanut butter? Or cocoa powder - there are no limits to your banana frenzy!

Ingredients (2 portions)

  • 500ml (plant) Milk

  • 2 Bananas, chopped and frozen

  • Handful of Strawberries

  • Mint for decoration

Method

Blend the banana, strawberries and milk in a mixer for a good two minutes. Note: you might want to let the bananas defrost for a while, in case you're afraid your mixer might explode if it cannot deal with solid banana pieces flying around ;) Fill the milkshake into some glasses and decorate with a twig of mint. Enjoy and good luck with studying!
