This is yet another version of homemade granola and it has earned its name. The turmeric is what causes the golden colour and the chai spices make it a delicious breakfast!

Ingredients:
250g Oats
Handful of Nuts
1 tsp Turmeric
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp ground Cloves
1/4 tsp ground Cardamom
~3 tbsp Coconut Oil (melted)
~2 tbsp Honey or Agave Syrup
Method:
Preheat your oven to 150°C
In a large bowl, mix the oats and nuts.
In a smaller bowl combine the spices and in another small bowl mix the oil and syrup.
Add the spices to the oats first, stir well, then add the oil-syrup mix. If you feel like the oats are still too dry, add some more oil and syrup - Granola is very forgiving with the ingredient quantities
Bake the granola in batches, and make sure to spread the granola out thinly on the baking tray. Roast for 14 minutes in the oven, giving the granola a little stir half-way through to make sure it's evenly roasted.
Remove from the oven and let fully cool on a plate before filling into a jar for storage. Note: the granola will not be crunchy fresh out of the oven. The crunchiness comes once the granola has cooled off
