Chicorée Salad

Although chicorée has a reputation of tasting bitter (and I absolutely dislike bitter), combined with the right things it can be a super healthy and delicious meal.


Ingredients (1 portion)

  • 1 medium sized Chicorée

  • 1 Orange

  • 1 ripe Avocado

  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil

  • 3/4 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar

  • 1 tsp Agave Sirup (or 1/2 tsp sugar)

  • Salt and Pepper

Method

  1. Wash and chop the chicorée.

  2. Cut the orange into its 8 pieces and using a smaller knife cut the flesh loose from the peeling. Cut the avocado into cubes.

  3. Mix together the oil, vinegar and agave syrup (or sugar) and pour over the salad. Add some salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy!
