Apple Crumble

If you are feeling a sudden sweet tooth, this dish is here to help! It's done in less than 30 minutes and is so delicious, especially with a scoop of ice cream. Grab some apples and off you go!

Ingredients (2 servings):

  • 1 Apple

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

  • 8 tsp Sugar

  • 20g Oats

  • 40g Flour

  • 40g cold Butter

Method:

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C.

  2. Cut the apple into bite sized pieces and coat in cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Set aside.

  3. In a small mixing bowl, combine the remaining sugar with the oats, flour and butter. Knead everything into a crumbly dough.

  4. Prepare two small oven dishes by brushing them with some butter and sprinkling some sugar on the inside. Fill the apple into the dish and add the crumble over the top. Bake until golden brown, for about 25 minutes. Best enjoyed fresh from the oven with a scoop of ice cream!


Note:

You can also make this dish with other fruits. Different types of berries also work well!
